Expert Witness
I started working with people with mental health difficulties in 2000 in various settings including NHS and non-NHS inpatient, community and secure forensic settings. I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist at the University of Surrey in 2009. Since then, I have completed further training and subsequently specialised in working with adults with complex difficulties, suffering with combinations of the following:
- Offending behaviour and forensic risk
- Personality Disorder
- Trauma and dissociative disorders
- Acute mental health problems
- Substance misuse disorder
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and learning disability
I have been practising for 11 years as an Expert Witness, providing a range of assessments for the Criminal, Immigration and Family Courts. Please refer to my Expert Witness pages for more detailed information.
I also deliver online therapies in the treatment of a range of mental health conditions. I adopt various therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Compassion-Focused approaches.
I offer a range of training courses to a variety of organisations including public services, corporate organisations and the voluntary sector.
